Long Island Man Seriously Injured After Being Electrocuted, Falling From Ladder

Police are investigating the circumstances in which a Long Island man fell off a ladder after being electrocuted while working on a house.

The incident happened at 37 Juniper Ave. in Smithtown.

Lawrence Sirulnick, age 56, was on a ladder in Smithtown outside of 37 Juniper Ave. when he touched an electrical wire and fell approximately 15 feet to the ground just before 3 p.m. Saturday, June 5, Suffolk County Police said.

Sirulnick, of Smithtown, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.
